Lexsis storefront pages include built-in page analytics and can also load the
analytics and advertising tags your store already uses.

## Built-in page analytics

Published Lexsis pages record the storefront activity used by page and
experiment reports, including:

- Page views
- Scroll depth
- Section reach
- CTA clicks
- Add-to-cart activity
- Experiment exposure and engagement

View these results in <AppLink to="analytics">Storefront Analytics</AppLink> or
on an individual experiment.

## Quiz activity and response saving

The [Quiz island](/islands/engagement/quiz) emits identifier-only journey and
commerce events when analytics consent permits it. Quiz answer text and contact
details are excluded from these events. Preview pages are for interaction
review; verify production collection on the published URL.

Optional answer saving has its own disclosure and unchecked consent control.
Saving can work when analytics is denied. Optional contact collection requires
a separate purpose and choice; it does not subscribe someone to marketing or
send their results automatically. Configuring an advertising tag does not
enable quiz response saving.

See [Forms and Quiz Responses](/tools/forms) for policy activation and retention,
and [Quiz analytics](/tools/analytics#quiz-events-and-saved-responses) for reporting
limits.

## Configurable tags

You can add the IDs or public key for:

| Integration | Configuration |
|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Measurement ID such as `G-XXXXXXXXXX` |
| Google Tag Manager | Container ID such as `GTM-XXXXXXX` |
| Meta Pixel | Numeric Pixel ID |
| TikTok Pixel | Pixel ID |
| Pinterest Tag | Numeric Tag ID |
| Klaviyo | Public API key |

You can also add approved custom body markup, up to 16 KB. Script tags must be
top-level; unsafe markup and invalid identifiers are rejected.

## Available commerce events

| Event | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Product view | On | Fires when a Lexsis page is bound to a product |
| Add to cart | On | Fires after a successful storefront add-to-cart action |
| Begin checkout | Off | Enable only when your existing setup will not count the same checkout twice |

GA4 events use ecommerce-compatible payloads. When GTM is configured, the same
events are pushed to the page `dataLayer`.

## Apply changes

1. Open <AppLink to="trackingTags">Settings → Tracking tags</AppLink>.
2. Enter only the IDs for services you already use.
3. Choose the storefront events that should fire.
4. Save the configuration.
5. Allow up to five minutes for published pages to load the updated tags.

Use each provider's browser debugging tool to confirm that the tag loaded and
received the expected event.
